PREAMBLE:
We, the people of Ardenia, in order to promote the common good, establish justice, ensure tranquillity, provide for the common defence, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the democratic governance of our region.

ARTICLE I: BILL OF RIGHTS

Section 1: Freedom of Expression
All citizens of Ardenia shall enjoy the freedom of expression, including the freedom of speech, press, religion, assembly, and association, as long as these do not infringe on the rights of others.

Section 2: Equal Protection
All citizens of Ardenia shall have equal protection under the law, and no discrimination shall be allowed on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other grounds.

ARTICLE II: LEGISLATIVE BRANCH

Section 1: Composition of the Legislative Branch
The legislative branch of Ardenia shall be composed of a unicameral legislature, known as the Ardenian Parliament, which shall be responsible for managing Ardenia.

Section 2: Election of Members of the Government
Members of the government shall be elected by popular vote in free and fair elections, held every 2 months (or whenever needed); all citizens of Ardenia shall have the right to vote.

Section 3: Powers of the government
Certain roles in the government have the power to suppress spam/ unwanted messages, kick and or ban nations, build foreign relations, or complete roleplay needs.

Section 4: Impeachment and Removal of Officials
The people of Ardenia shall have the power to impeach and remove officials of the government for misdemeanours by a majority in polls; nations may also be impeached out of parliament due to inactivity for one week or longer.

Section 5:
Nations may be appointed by the Prime Minister when elections are not suitable for certain positions, or in a state of emergency.

ARTICLE III: EXECUTIVE BRANCH

Section 1: Composition of the Executive Branch
The executive branch of Ardenia shall be composed of a Prime Minister, who shall be the head of state and government and the World Assembly Delegate.

Section 2: Election of the WA Delegate
The World Assembly Delegate shall be elected by popular vote in free and fair elections, held every 4 months. All citizens of Ardenia shall have the right to vote.

Section 3:
No nation in the parliament may run for another parliamentary role, you may resign to run for another role, but must wait at least 2 weeks.

Section 4: Powers of the Prime Minister (Sovereign State Of Khalistan)
The Prime Minister shall be responsible for enforcing the laws of Ardenia, and shall have the power to appoint officials, negotiate treaties, and pardon individuals convicted of crimes; the Prime Minister cannot be removed from office, as they are the founders of the region, however, successors may become the Prime Minister if the Sovereign State Of Khalistan ceases to exist, or gives up their power.

ARTICLE IV: AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION

Section 1: Proposing Amendments
Amendments to this Constitution may be proposed by the regional government, or by a petition signed by at least 10% of the citizens of Ardenia.

Section 2:
Alternate accounts are not permitted to be a citizen of Ardenia, nor are they allowed to participate on the regional map.
