Brasilistan: The Boldonian Timeline (Archive)

I am sure you are all aware of the Brasilistan issue series, and you all have made your own decisions in that series. I have posted my decisions in a separate factbook, however in this factbook I will explain my own head cannon concerning Brasilistan. As you all have made your own decisions concerning the nation, consider this an alternate reality from your own.

Early Brasilistan:
On Managellan's voyage across the globe, he discovered both Brasilistan and Boldonia. However, he originally took more interest in Boldonia disregarding Brasilistan. It took many years before the Spanish would extend from Boldonia to Brasilistan. The Brasilistani population would soon come to resent the Spanish.
Freedom from Colonization:
In the early 1800s, Brasilistanis would observe the Latin American revolts against the Spanish. They would soon attempt their own revolt and succeed, but would soon find that running a country was harder than they thought. They looked to foreign nations to help stabilize their country. They made pacts with Prussia and later the German Empire. Needless to say by 1918 that they were regretting that. They were under Japanese influence now, by 1945 that was irrelevant. But they found refuge in one of the winners of that war.
Communism:
The Soviet Union took Brasilistan under its wing, extending the Cold War to US controlled Boldonia. Even after the collapse of Communism in Europe, Brasilistan still held on, until Boldonia invaded and their colonial past came full circle.

(For those not in the know, Boldonian Puppet is the in-game representation of Brasilistan, and Boldonia is Independent Republic of Boldonia.)
