Introduction to The United Federation of Dextranta

The United Federation of Dextranta is a large nation located in the continent of Rumart. Dextranta directly borders the nations of Sanctuary Point, Twilight Sparkle, Independent Eden, and New Franshire. The Nation of Khovezzem is located off the Eastern Coastline. Dextranta is approximately 636,400 mi² (1,648,195 km²), with a total border range of 1,749 mi (2,815 km). Dextranta currently holds a total population of 7.2 billion registered citizens, with a small incalculable number of migrants either legally or illegally residing in the nation.

Dextranta consists of 3 states under the United Federation.

Kegrium is the designated capital state of The United Federation, with a total approximate population of 2.4 billion registered citizens, with a small incalculable number of migrants either legally or illegally residing in the state. Kegrium is located on the Eastern side of the nation and takes up the entirety of the coastline. Kegrium geographically is very flat with minor and insignficant elevation changes. The majority of the state is packedly densed city/urban enviroment, with both commercial and residental buildings making up the cities. Dinsmark, the nation's capital is located towards the eastern north of the coastline, which is a generally urban city. Dinsmark is home to parliment, The United Federation Defense Ministry (UFDM), The United Federation Immigration Center (UFIC), The United Federation Center for Disease Control (UFCDC), and The United Federation presidential estate. Wealth distribution in Kegrium is average, with a median household income of $120,345.

Crime in Kegrium is relatively low, with a murder per capita of 1.71. Arrests have been on a steady decline over the past few years, with Kegrium's lowest recorded police filings (17,394) to date. Gang related violence however remains a concern of The United Federation, with insurgency groups continuesly being monitered for signs of uprising. The Kegrium Police Department (KPD) has continued to state that public safety in regards to these extremist factions is the number one top priority of the department.

Bordering Kegrium to the northwest is the state of Gutzenburg. A total population of 700 million registered citizens, with a small incalculable number of migrants either legally or illegally residing in the state. Gutzenburg is geographically completely flat, with little to no elevation change. Gutzenburg is considered the natural farm territory of Dextranta, with large rural areas making up the bulk of living areas. Meat agriculture is the primary industry in Gutzenburg, taking up over 40% of private farm lands in the state. Gutzenburg's median income is relatively lower than Kegrium, with an average of $76,560. This is considered more than livable in the area however.

Due to the rather scattered living areas and general "always working" attitude that Gutzenburg exhibits, the crime rate extremely low, with murder being a very rare occurance. Gutzenburg Police Department (GPD) is mainly concerned with drug trafficking in the state, which has seen a spike in recent years due to generally underdeveloped areas, and lack of law enforcement officers out in the field. The United Federation Ministry for Public Safety has stepped in in recent years to assist in the catching of these drug cartels, whom generally are bringing contraband into Kegrium territory.

The Third State, Drachen, is the final and largest of the three states. With the rest of the population (3.9 billion registered citizens, with a small incalculable number of migrants either legally or illegally residing in the state.) living there. Given the vast population, many different cities and towns have developed over the years. Generally, however, there is still a substantial amount of rural towns located along the border of Gutzenburg, with low to middle income urban areas developing further out from the border. Two major cities (New Dextranta & Belka) also are part of the state of Drachen. Port Ludvig, named after President Ludvig, is the largest commercial port in the nation. Located between the nations of Independent Eden and New Franshire, over 60% of all trade and commerce enter through this vital international trade port. The port primarily takes in food, oil, and arms, though the most latter is reserved only for use by The United Federation Defense Force (UFDF).

Crime, as expected, is the highest of all three states due too it's sheer size. Murder per captia is at 3.1. Drug trafficking and human trafficking are the most troublesome black market industries, bringing an estimated $2.3 dollars per year. Drachen Police Department (DPD) and The United Federation Ministry of Public Safety work together jointly to uncover these industries and ultimately stop them dead in their tracks.
