Erisoria (Erisorian: Ilesulea; Erisorian Cyrillic: Илесулеа), officially Erisoria, is a country in the Verusan continent in Strangereal. It is an economic powerhouse in the region, with most of the industries located in the nation’s capital of Kaleendamen and neighboring region of Suohtiashia. The national language is Erisorian, the same term used for their demonym. English is also widely spoken.

Early Erisorians established the country after gaining international recognition as a state, where they established the then Socialist Republic of Erisoria (ESR). After the ESR collapsed following an economic stagnation, a federal republic was proclaimed. Not long after the transition, the country quickly became one of the region’s most efficient and richest economies, surpassing the regional and global average in a very short period of time. However, communist rule was reestablished shortly after due to rampant corruption and excessively pro-business and anti-poor legislations. The country then became an autonomous territory of Pecarnia after the nation liberated Erisoria from communism. Independence was granted shortly after and Erisoria became an independent federal republic once more.

Erisoria is described as a potential superpower, with its defense forces one of the world’s most advanced, and has a relatively high military expenditure with the military receiving a fifth of the national budget. It is also has one of the world’s highest Human Development Index, with a heavily funded educational, welfare, and healthcare system. In addition, Erisoria’s economy belongs to the upper ranks in the World Census.

Despite the somewhat small economic output of ERS 5.83 trillion, the country’s economy fares quite well in the international stage in terms of security and stability. Moreover, it is a scientifically and technologically advanced country. The country is also a member of the World Assembly and is a member of TNP Home Affairs, as well as the headquarters for the Philippines regional embassy in the North Pacific.

History

Erisorians gained natural recognition in 1834 in the southern part of Verusa, a continent in northwest Strangereal. Following the Erisorian Communist Revolution, a communist government was installed. The new nation was officially named the Republic of Erisoria, although it was a socialist republic in nature. General Secretary-Premier Ireja Nalhemiz was appointed as the country’s head-of-state.

Nalhemiz’s rule during the communist era was noted with a poorly performing economy, despite an agnostic military spending. The major industry in the country was automobile manufacturing, although the government struggled to subsidize the cost for production and wages for its workers. Furthermore, Erisorians had a low HDI (human development index) compared to the global average. However, swaying from the traditional communist ideology of isolation, Nalhemiz sought to foster international relations similar to capitalistic nations as a way of helping the ailing economy. Despite his efforts to boost the economy, he was then forced to allow international companies to operate in the country, specifically with a free trade agreement with New celoveniortan. This led to a process of democratization, with people (especially from the Federal Republic Movement) calling for more freedoms. Nalhemiz agreed to the calls of reform, and an eventually inevitable economic collapse led to the dissolution of the ESR. This led to the proclamation of the Federal Republic.

Under the new government system, Nalhemiz was named President and was able to introduce successful economic policies which resulted in the Great Erisorian Economic Miracle, a period of which the economy grew by an impressive average of 12.44% per annum. From having a once developing economy, the country has become an economic powerhouse. With more money in the national treasury, Erisoria spent most of its money towards defense and industry subsidization, allowing for a significant economic progress. The Erisorian HDI also became one of the highest in the world. Nalhemiz’s pro-policies for education and national defense made for a scientifically advanced nation, having one of the most intelligent populations in the world.

However, civil rights activists, specifically the Sever Lekths Pul Arr (SLPA), a remnant of the FRM, lamented the still lacking civil rights in the country. The country’s civil rights index indicated only a slightly above than world average standing, and Nalhemiz is still noted as being increasingly authoritarian. There has also been a staggering rise in cases of government corruption, which Erisorians say is unprecedented even during the ESR era.

Nalhemiz aimed to address these issues, although his pro-economic stance led him to fear that it will negatively affect the national economy. Nonetheless, he recently introduced several reforms to solve these issues. The SLPA claims these are significant steps yet are still far from the embodiment of full change.

Not long after, Nalhemiz introduced social and political reforms in compliance with the SLPA's demands for more civil and political rights. While economics was still agnostic for him, civil and political rights were also made more important. The SLPA, and Erisorians in general, celebrated freer laws, which lowered Erisoria's authoritarian rating though bringing with it the HDI by a small margin. Nevertheless, the nation's issue with skyrocketing corruption cases have not yet been resolved, but black market activity have started to be controlled tightly.

A surprise coup d'etat in Erisoria City by former army general Gargi Thijmen, who served the Erisorian Socialist Armed Forces and a hardline communist, overthrew Nalhemiz's government after the president allowed excessive pro-business legislations which led to a significantly poorer quality of life for the country's working and lower class while widening income inequality. Erisoria City, which serves as the country's judicial and legislative seat, fell under Thijmen's power. For a few days, Nalhemiz refused to surrender Kaleendamen which was Erisoria's executive seat. However, Thijmen, with the support of aggrieved peasants and farmers in the Mulh regions, successfully invaded and led the Fall of Kaleendamen. Thijmen's forces assassinated Nalhemiz, and the whole country was reinstated under communist rule.

Nalhemiz's vice president, Elena Ravafei, was forced into exile in New celoveniortan. While in exile, she appeased for help to liberate Erisoria from Thijmen. King Eric I, the monarch of Pecarnia, offered to liberate the country in exchange for making the country a liberal territory of his country. Ravafei agreed, and Pecarnian forces successfully liberated Erisoria and assassinated Thijmen. Popular Erisorian freedom movement figure Selena Markesa was appointed Prime Minister.

No less than two years later, King Eric I granted Erisoria independence, which led to it becoming a sovereign federal republic once more.

Geography

Erisoria's landscape is regarded as environmentally stunning, with dense forests in the mountains and healthy waters abound with fish and marine life. Most of the population is concentrated in the coastal parts of the country while sparse towns and some cities can also be found in the country's central mountainous regions.

The northern Mulh regions are most notable for its arable land and gently rolling hills. The central region of Simhiia is renowned for Mount Kamken and its mountain ranges which dominate the entire region. The eastern regions are known for its forests and fertile land. The western and southern regions are where most of industrial activities are at.

The capital, Kaleendamen, lies in the southern Sukorp Capital Region overlooking the Tsyemny Sea. The former capital, Erisoria City, is located in the southwestern Suohtyishia region near the opening of the Erisorian Gulf. In all, Erisoria has 9 regions. Seven are in the mainland and two are in the Eharresulea Territory in southern Itallitopia.

Economy

Socialist Era

The Erisorian economy during the socialist era was broadly diverse, with a host of different sectors and industries contributing to the country’s GDP. The largest industry of the country was automobile manufacturing. Consumer goods manufacturing was also significant, as well as retail, yet agriculture was negligible. The country's significant imports were food, despite having huge areas of arable land. Partly, the reason for this was the ESR's drive for massive industrialization, prioritizing industries than agriculture.

Nonetheless, Erisorians had a low average income at the time (NSD 54,600 ~ ERF 40,700). While the economy wasn't ranked as imploded, it wasn't developed either. However, tax rates were also kept to minimum at the time (20%), and inflation was tightly controlled by the planned economy. Employed Erisorians enjoyed stable incomes, but jobs during the era was hard to get by. Unemployment was very high at the time (36%), and this problem persisted up to the present-day with only a minimal decrease of unemployment rate (32%) despite the already developed economy.

The arms industry is the country's only industry which has been a major industry towards the modern era. The ESR was increasingly militarized during its era. Nalhemiz inititiated a program of self-reliance in weapons to ensure national security stability.

The socialist economy, however, deteriorated over time. Long-time stagnation led to a dismal economic situation where people called for reform and change. The Federal Republic Movement gained traction out of the economic struggles of Erisorians who demanded a free-market economy. Initially, Nalhemiz was hesitant to allow private companies from operating. However, further economic problems led to him signing the NC-Erisoria Free Trade Agreement with New Celoveniortan, which allowed private NC companies to operate in Erisoria. Nalhemiz then decomissioned the State Economic Planning Committee, allowing for a capitalist market and eventually allowing private Erisorian companies as well. The ESR dissolved soon after.

Federal Era

After the collapse of the ESR, Nalhemiz was given the presidency for the Erisorian Federal Republic. Under the new federal government, he instituted reforms such as the Business Subsidization Act. The act promoted rapid economic growth by granting entrepreneur Erisorians with significant government investments for the development of their businesses.

This paid off quite well and the Erisorian economy quickly shot up, posting an average of 12.44% growth per annum. The act is also attributed to the Great Erisorian Economic Miracle, although this was short-lived as the economy stagnated after, with growth rates only reaching 2.1% per annum. This led to the devaluation of the Erisorian fisu, which was used since the ESR era. It was replaced by the Erisorian simhin (ERS), which was half the value of a fisu.

Following the government’s increased support for scientific advancement, the information technology industry flourished to become the largest Erisorian industry. Retail and arms industry remained as vital contributors to the national economy. New industries, such as fast-food services, insurance, and dairy production, were also noted in the post-ESR period.

The Nalhemiz administration also funded numerous public infrastructure projects, the most notable being nuclear power complexes that are state owned which were built to replace non-renewable energy sources. Tens of thousands of kilometers of highways and high-speed rail lines were also constructed as part of Nalhemiz’s Eight-Year Projects Plan.

However, the rapid economic development led to rapid inflation, soaring tax rates, as well as rampant corruption. The Erisorian average taxed income stagnated despite rising average incomes. While the taxed income has nearly doubled compared to the socialist era, the untaxed income itself grew three times. This was due to corresponding tax increases which saw the average tax rate to rise from 20% to upwards of 55%. The increased taxes nonetheless funded a better educational and national defense system.

Thijmen Era

After the Fall of Kaleendamen, Thijmen put all private businesses under state control. Unemployed citizens were also given free land in the Mulh regions for farming, which helped increase agricultural output. Despite the abrupt transition, Erisoria's economy continued to grow at the steady pace as the final years of Nalhemiz's rule. Income tax rates continued to rise, which now stands at 65%. Exports were still allowed, although imports were given tighter control. Small private businesses are also allowed, provided the state owned 60% of the said business. Notably, during this era, the economy started to experience slower growth rates. Erisorians' average disposable incomes also shrank nearly twice in the later half of the former era as a result of skyrocketing tax rates, which continued well into this era.

Second Federal Era

After Erisoria's liberation from Thijmen, the country became an autonomous territory of Pecarnia. The incorporation of Erisoria into the monarchy only had little effect on its economy. Newly appointed Prime Minister (and later President) Selena Markesa promised to revitalize Erisoria's economy to pre-Thijmen levels of growth, but this proved too difficult. The economic stagnation which stemmed from Thijmen's control of national businesses was hard to reverse, even if they were returned to private control.

Up to present, tax rates remained high. While this was good for public spending, which saw amounts never before seen in Erisoria's history, average disposable incomes remained abysmal. The economy has also seen contractions during the transition from the recent communist system to the reinstated capitalist one.

Government

Erisoria is a sovereign nation. It has its own constitution in which the Erisorian President (head of government), Congress, and Judiciary share powers reserved to the national government. Moreover, the Erisorian government is free to draft and legislate its own laws without interference from other nations.

The Executive Branch is headed by the President and is independent of the legislature. The Office of the President enacts laws and has the power to enact laws upon deliberation from the Congress.

The Legislative Branch is vested legislature power in the two chambers of Congress: the Senate and the House of Representatives. The legislature holds referenda for national policy.

The Judicial Branch (or judiciary), composed of the Supreme Court and lower regional courts, exercises judicial power. The judiciary's function is to interpret the Erisoria Constitution and regional laws and regulations. This includes resolving disputes between the executive and legislative branches.

There are major differences between the political system of Erisoria and that of most other developed capitalist countries. These include increased power of the upper house of the legislature, a wider scope of power held by the Supreme Court, the separation of powers between the legislature and the executive, and the dominance of a two-party system since 2020. Erisoria is one of the world's developed democracies where third parties have the least political influence.

Furthermore, concerns have been raised over the level of political influence held by different demographic groups. For women and minority demographics, in particular, a lack of proportionate representation and political influence have been connected to broader concerns about democracy in Erisoria.

The federal entity followed by the Erisorian Constitution is the dominant feature of the Erisorian governmental system. However, most residents are also subject to a state government, and also subject to various units of local government. The latter includes regions, districts, and municipal/metropolitan government units.

Culture

Erisorian culture widely varies per region. Regions with higher urban populations, such as those in the SCR, the Suoht regions, and Yishia, are known for their generally liberal culture usually free from conservatism, although migrants from traditionally-known conservative regions tend to remain as such. People from these regions also have a higher literacy rate than those in other regions, which usually sees them having higher influence in national aspects such as science, fashion, business, and government. Popular celebrities also usually come from these regions as well. However, the food culture here are dominated by western-style dishes.

The Simhilian region is notably the most different region in terms of culture. The region's natives usually have more toleration for liberal culture but also have boundaries with which they practice their conservatism. Due to the region being a tourist spot, Erisorian traditional food and various types of dishes are generally served here.

Perhaps, the most conservative populations hail from the Mulh and Eharresulean regions. People from these regions tend to view society differently from those of other regions. These populations also have the highest participation in the country's religious affairs.

Erisoria is located in the Verusan continent. Its neighbors include The Impero Vapiano of Western Vapia at the northeast and southeast, Itallitopia at the north and west, The ✠ Grand Empire ✠ of Friently at the southwest, and New celoveniortan at the south.

The southern coastline borders the Tsyemny Sea, and holds partial jurisdiction of the opening of the Erisorian Gulf. This is due to the country having two territories at either end of the said opening, specifically Mainland Erisoria and the Eharresulea Territory at the south of Itallitopia.

By far the most populated Erisorian state, Suohtiashia has over 9 million inhabitants. The state is second only to Kaleendamen in terms of share in the national economic output. Most of Erisoria’s industrial activities are located in this state, and is home to the city of Simhlon, one of four shipping ports considered to be of national importance.

It is considered an economic and cultural hub of the Suoht states. Its largest city, Nabeme, is the capital of the state. Home to 1.2 million residents, the city is also one of Erisoria’s largest.

Being home to nearly half of Erisoria’s production facilities, the state has also become one of the most polluted in the country. Environmental regulation and rehabilitation has become a sore point in the country’s environmental policies.

Nevertheless, the government has recently signed the Erisorian Universal Healthcare Act (IOTA), prioritizing the Ministry of Health’s IOTA budget for people with diseases caused by the declining air and water quality in the state. The state’s Congress representatives has also pushed for stricter environmental protection laws for Suohtiashia, which is yet to become a law.

Its primary industries include manufacturing, commerce, and trade. Kaleendamen companies are the primary investors in the state, although there has been rising investments from other states as well as inside the state itself.

Suohtyishia is considered as one of Erisoria’s tourism centers. The state is home to Erisoria City, the former capital of the country during two of its communist eras. The recent communist takeover by General Gargi Thijmen left the city in ruins, but reconstruction efforts had been in full swing since his time up to the present administration of Prime Minister Markesa.

It is the tourism hub of the Suoht states. Its largest city, Erisoria City, is the capital of the state. Home to 1.7 million residents, the city is one of ports considered to be nationally important.

Renowned by tourists for its gently rolling hills, Suohtyishia has been Erisoria’s most economically important state until former President Johann Nalhemiz moved the capital to Kaleendamen. Even then, the state still is the third largest contributor to the national economy.

The state is considered a strategic geographic location by the army. The EAF operates about fourteen military bases in the state, with an additional one in Erisoria City operated by Arisom under the Treaty of Britan. The state serves as a choke point in the Erisorian Gulf, which the army may use as a leverage, as well as a strategic location with ease of access to any part of the country in the event that it is invaded.

Its primary industries include tourism, manufacturing, arms equipment, automobiles, and aerospace. The state holds the distinction of being the only state with two cosmodromes, Daegumol and Miy Plumheil, and the state which produces the most aircraft (primarily for the civilian division of the Erisorian Aircraft Corporation, or EAC) and space launch vehicles (for the Erisorian Space Agency and the Space Force division of the EAF).

Yishia is a major Erisorian trading hub, serving as an economic link between all of Erisoria’s states as well as to other nearby countries. There is a notable industrial presence in the state, specifically being a major arms equipment production center. Tourism is also one of the state’s main industries, although it has seen a decline in recent years.

The state is the third major producer of the country’s consumer goods. Its capital, Piervia, is home to 987.2 thousand citizens and is one of Erisoria’s largest. It is also considered as a port of national importance.

Some of the country’s best universities can be found in the state, and is the second most important educational center in Erisoria after Kaleendamen. The Piervian Erisorian Catholic University has been ranked the second best university in the country, after Kaleendamen State University.

Outside of its inhabited areas, the country is generally dominated by forests and mountains. Hikers and mountain climbers are known to train in Yishia, where they prepare befor eventually trying to climb Mount Kamken in Simhilia, the highest point in Erisoria. Natural attractions has been a major source of tourist revenue, although neighboring Simhilia has increasingly lured tourists away from Yishia.

The state is known for having the largest Erisorian national park, the Fuhapev Forest Reserve, which encompass virgin forests twice the size of the Sukorp Capital State. Simhilia is regarded as Erisoria’s tourism and gambling capital. Based on tourism data, 31.7% of tourists in Erisoria visited Simhilia at least once, topping the list with Kaleendamen in second, at 26.9%. Over half of Simhilians are employed in hospitality industries such as in hotels and restaurants, or in casinos. In fact, 85% of Erisoria’s casinos are in Simhilia. A lot of people from all over the country go to Simhilia on their days off for vacation. The wealthy frequent Simhilian casinos and five star resorts.

The state is mostly mountainous, and is home to Mount Kamken, the highest point in Erisoria at 9,121 feet above sea level. The mountain is surrounded by other mountains, plateaus, and hills which form the Simhilian Mountain Range that occupy over a quarter of the whole state.

As such, the population of the state is widely dispersed. There are only two cities in the state. Yauenamka, the capital is home to 2.3 million, which accounts to over half of the state’s total population. Yauenamka is also the second most populous city in Erisoria, after Kaleendamen. The other city is Falesplamsi, home to 531 thousand, and is the highest settlement in the whole country at 4,410 feet. The rest of the population can be found in far apart resort towns. A few reside in small villages, who are usually employed in mines who extract resources from Simhilia’s mountains..

Foreign tourists typically visit Yauenamka first, at the base of Mount Kamken, as it is the only city with an international airport in the whole state. Erisorians can drive anywhere in the state in winding highways along mountainsides that rise high above ravines. However, most Erisorians prefer to ride the ENTERS high speed train service, which provides astonishing scenic views of the state’s natural features.

The Sukorp Capital State only has two cities and two towns. The SCR has originally been allocated to Kaleendamen, the Erisorian capital, but has since expanded itself to the nearby city of Fulh and the towns of Ragyahil and Nalov, which serve as the suburban residential areas of Kaleendamen.

Fulh serves as the port city of Kaleendamen, and is one of the four ports of national importance. Ragyahil is home to most of Kaleendamen’s working class and industrial complexes. Nalov is a town that was built from scratch and is mostly comprised of gated communities, as it is home to almost 3/4 of Erisoria’s wealthy.

Kaleendamen is home to 3.1 million people, which earns it the distinction of being Erisoria’s most populated city. It is considered the technological, educational, cultural, political, and economic heart of the entire country. It is also the most tourist-frequented city in the entire country.

Nearly 1/4 of the entire country’s economic output is in the SCR. The capital state has the highest average income in the entire country, having nearly triple the national average. Most of the largest companies in Erisoria are located in Kaleendamen.

The state’s primary industry is information technology, as well as consumer goods and commerce. It is also host to two of Erisoria’s busiest airports, the Flislekt Kaleendamen International Airport and the ErisDomestic Airport. The country’s transportation networks mostly converge in Kaleendamen, which provides tourists a good staging point for travel wherever they want in the entire country.

Mulhtiashia, the northernmost state of Erisoria, is a predominantly agricultural state. Nearly 45% of Erisoria’s food supply come from this state. Produce are usually distributed from Mulhtiashian farms all across the country. Aside from Yishia, the state is also one of Erisoria’s heavily militarized states. In the city of Plumheil alone, the northernmost city in Erisoria, the EAF maintains three military and air bases.

The state’s primary industry aside from agriculture is military production, specifically trucks and various types of guns.

The state’s primary agricultural output are rice, soybeans, tea, vegetables, dairy products, and meat. Despite having an agricultural economy, the state’s residents live with a relatively high standard of living. However, the agricultural situation in the country has been struggling lately, which are negatively affecting the lives of farmers in agricultural states such as Mulhtiashia.

Ruoldis, the state’s capital home to 401.3 thousand, is its largest city and has the state’s only airport. It is where the Agricultural Institute for Research of Erisoria (AIRE) can be found, which conducts various experiments on agricultural goods such as genetic engineering, growth studies, and others.

Mining is also a notable industry, although tighter stateal regulations on mining had caused operations to slow down or shut down, and has even forced some companies to leave the state. Aside from military production, heavy agricultural equipment production is also prominent in the state. Tourism is also considered a component of Mulhtiashia’s economy, although only accounts for only 8% of the state’s economic output.

Mulhtia is also a predominantly agricultural state similar to its neighbor Mulhtiashia. It produces 35% of Erisoria’s agricultural output. Its primary agricultural exports include soy, wheat, rice, corn, vegetables, fruits, beef, pork, and chicken. Aside from agriculture, it also has rich mineral and natural gas reserves which has led to mining and oil companies to flock to the state.

Some of the country’s major mining operations can be found here, such as the Mulcopper mine in the town of Goshom which produces millions of tons of copper ores annually. The KaleendamCoal mine in Mount Mulhtia also provides over half of Erisoria’s local coal demand. Kanila Resource’s Rosusun Natural Gas Field is also one of Verusa’s largest, producing about 34,000 barrels of natural gas per day.

The state is also a major exporter of lumber, accounting to 42% of the country’s lumber production. Recent environmental legislations has forced lumber companies to sustainably attain lumber to help prevent and revers the negative impacts the industry has caused to Mulhtia’s forests for decades.

Small-scale industrial activities can also be found here, mostly consumer goods for local use. Tourism is also a component of the state’s economy, but accounts for less than a fifth of the state’s total economic output.

The state’s capital, Mulhtiasehu, is home to 214.8 thousand residents, and has the state’s only airport. Other cities, such as Nesbo, hosts the Mulhtia Agricultural Research Station (MARS). Honamu, a smaller city on the northern border of the state dotting the Erisorian Gulf, is home to the Erisorian Navy’s strategically important Mulhtia Submarine and Naval Base (MSNB). It houses five of the navy’s top-class Kozir nuclear submarines, as well as ten Fuwahola-class destroyers.

Coupled with its southern state neighbor, Eharresulea produces over 85% of the country's fishing output. Agriculture, tourism, and small scale industries are primary contributors to the state's economy as well.

The state is linked to the mainland by ferry, crossing the opening of the Erisorian Gulf. However, a currently under construction high-speed rail tunnel under the gulf is set to connect both Eharresulean states to the mainland faster in a few years, which the government hopes would help boost the local population to consider migrating to the states and spurring economic growth.

The capital, Miy-Birte, is home to 300.8 thousand residents, and has the state’s only international airport and is the major fishing port. The only other city, Mastey, is in one of the country's top ten tourist destinations. The Mastey Monument, dedicated to the colonizers who gave the Erisorian government ownership of the Eharresulean states, is frequented by tourists.

The Treaty of Britan

Drafted by the Arisomian Board, subsequently jointly agreed upon by the Arisomian and Erisorian Board for the Arisom-Erisoria Cooperation Organization.

The articles below are the policies regarding the alliance between Erisoria and Arisom (hereafter referred to as the 'Nations') through this Treaty.

Section I - Non-Agression Pact

Both Nations are officially considered Allied by law through AECO. They are not permitted to show any military aggression of any sort without valid reason or cause. Any action leading to war between both Nations will be considered violation of the treaty and will be considered null and void in such event.

Section II - Foreign Aggression

Foreign aggression against either Nation will be considered aggression against both. Arisom and Erisoria are bound to assist each other in times of war or internal conflicts. If either Nation do not fulfill their responsibilities within this Section, the entire treaty will be considered null and void.

Section III - Base Exchange

The Arisomian Army, Navy, and Air Force will operate three Arisomian bases each in Erisoria City, Kaleendamen, and Simhlon, the bases are funded by both Erisoria (90%) and Arisom (10%).

The Erisorian Language

The Erisorian language, usually referred to locally as Ilesuleam, is the national language of Erisoria. It is written using Cyrillic characters, although Roman characters are also accepted and used widely. Foreigners will have no problem learning Erisorian, as the language is simply English with letters changed. For the sake of convenience, this topic would only tackle the Roman version of Erisorian.

Take the Erisorian greeting "Tirru" for example:

Hello = Tirru

The word simply is Hello with letters changed. For context, below is a chart for letters with which you swap on. The left column would be English letters, and the right letters would be their Erisorian equivalent.

A = A
B = D
C = (see Note 1)
D = B
E = I
F = P
G = K
H = T
I = E
J = J
K = G
L = R
M = N
N = M
O = U
P = F
Q = K
R = L
S = S
T = H
U = O
V = V
W = Y
X = KS
Y = (see Note 2)
Z = Z

Notes:

    1) The English letter C would depend on how it is read. For example, sauce. The C would be changed to S as it is read as such in the word. The resulting Erisorian word would be saosi. If the C is read as K, such as in the case of car, then it would be changed into K, which results to the word kal. For the diphthong CH, it would be retained as is. For example, chandelier would be chambiriel in Erisorian.
    2) The English letter Y would depend on its location. If it is located as the first letter of a word, as in yes, then the letter W will be used, resulting to wis. If it is in a location other than the first letter, then it will be changed into U. For example, the word soy is suu in Erisorian.

Given the letters, we can now translate English words into Erisorian easily. Considering the rules as well as the letter table, the following are common Erisorian words and their English translation:

Tuy ali wuo? = How are you?
E'n pemi = I'm fine
Kuub hu gmuy = Good to know
Sii wuo rahil! = See you later!

The Erisorian Armed Forces

The Erisorian Armed Forces are the military forces of Erisoria. It consists of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. The President is the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces and forms military policy with the Erisorian Ministry of Defense acting as the principal organs by which military policy is carried out. All eight armed services are among the ten uniformed services of Erisoria.

History

The Erisorian Armed Forces was formed days after the independence of Erisoria in 1834 as a socialist republic. Former General Secretary Ireja Nalhemiz served as commander-in-chief of the IAP for the first years of its existence during the Erisorian Socialist Republic (ESR) period. He was then succeeded by his son Salayar. During the time, it enjoyed the highest allocation of the national budget, only being eclipsed by the government's industrial expenses and subsidies briefly on several occasions.

Most of the country's scientific research were focused on the development of weapons for the military. Then General Secretary Johann Nalhemiz, Salayar's son, signed into effect the 1967 decree requiring the military to acquire at least 400 nuclear weapons in a period of two years. The act also formed the Erisorian Nuclear Forces (IMP). By 1969, the IMP had acquired 600 nuclear warheads. The newly-proclaimed Erisorian Federal Republic acquired and gained control of the weapons after the ESR collapsed. In 1974, the New Celoveniortan-Erisoria Mutual Defense Pact was signed.

During the 1980s, Nalhemiz, who had become president, greatly increased military budget allocation through the Enhanced Military Spending Act. Nalhemiz left this legacy as per capita spending on Erisoria's defense force hadn't gone down since then. However, it was also in his term when the country successfully dismantled all of its nuclear weapons, citing that the 'maintenance and upkeep of the nuclear arsenal, which is entirely unfeasible at this time, is greatly draining the military budget.' It had been acknowledged to be one of the world's most powerful militaries by the 1990s.

Service Branches

The Erisorian Armed Forces is composed of five coequal military service branches. Four of the branches, the Erisorian Army, Erisorian Marine Corps, Erisorian Navy, and the Erisorian Air Force, are organized under the Ministry of Defense's military departments. The Erisorian Coast Guard is nominally under the Ministry of Defense, but may be transferred to the command of the Navy (which is the civilian entity that oversees the coequal Erisorian Marine Corps and Erisorian Navy) at the direction of the president or congress. With the exception of the Coast Guard, the military services only organize, train, and equip forces. The unified combatant commands are responsible for operational control of non-service retained forces.

It achieved independence from the Erisorian Army, but directly traces its history through the Erisorian Army Air Forces.

The five core missions of the Air Force are:

1. Air superiority
2. Global integrated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance
3. Rapid global mobility
4. Global strike
5. Command and control

The Erisorian Air Force is composed of the Regular Air Force, Erisorian Air Force Reserve, and Erisorian Air National Guard. Coast Guard

The Erisorian Coast Guard (IKK) is the maritime security, search and rescue, and law enforcement service branch of the Erisorian Armed Forces and part of the Ministry of Internal Security, which is led by the Minister of Internal Security. It is the only military branch outside the Ministry of Defense, but can be transferred to the civilian-led Department of the Navy, which is led by the Secretary of the Navy, in the case that congress stipulates that when declaring war or the president directs. The military head of the Erisorian Coast Guard is the commandant of the Coast Guard, who is assisted by the vice commandant of the Coast Guard and master chief petty officer of the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard was founded as a military service branch as the Erisorian Revenue-Marine, before being renamed as the Erisorian Revenue Cutter Service. It was merged with the civilian Erisorian Life-Saving Service to form the Erisorian Coast Guard. The Coast Guard was transferred to the Ministry of Transportation, where it would reside until it was permanently transferred to the Ministry of Internal Security.
