Nikita Popov is an Imperial Russian Army chaplain who fought during World War I and then the Russian Civil War, he was a member of the White movement and established an anti-communist government in Siberia, on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East. He then made himself President of the Kamchatka Republic. Nicknamed the "Tsar-Priest of Kamchatka", his authoritarian policies coinciding with his religious beliefs.
