How to Nova Lisseum?

Welcome to Nova Lisseum

About Us

Nova Lisseum is a region of many opportunities. NL (for short) is a region that was formed from Lisseum, our old region which has been reformed and is not a region we speak of. Nonetheless, we are a region that champions democracy and liberty for all our citizens.

Nova Lisseum has a regional government, different from you're own little roleplay governments. We have three branches of government as most democracies have. Our Legislature consists of a unicameral Parliament which creates laws and helps make the policies of the government happen. The Executive branch consists of a President who is elected by the people, and a Prime Minister who is elected based on which political party has a majority in Parliament. The Prime Minister technically holds more power than the President as the President is only a ceremonial role in the government. Parliamentary elections take place every 3 months and Presidential elections take place every 6 months.

There are always opportunities to create political parties whether as a joke or a serious one. Check out the factbook below to see what are the current political parties.

Overview of Political Parties

Here you can find all registered political parties of Nova Lisseum. Visit their information by clicking on the logo. If you want to register a political party, just make a manifesto, have a Discord server for it, and have at least 3 members. Contact a support team official to get it recognized or the Home Secretary.

Getting Started

For those new to the game, you might wonder... "WHAT THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO???" Well, first of all, calm down. Second of all, take a look at this helpful FAQ page to get a basic understanding of the game's mechanics. After you've read that, be sure to apply to join the World Assembly. What is the World Assembly you ask? The WA (for short) is an international body of players that can join to vote on resolutions, endorse other members in your region, and gain influence in your region. Click here to join the WA.

The next thing (or first thing if you want) is to introduce yourself to us in the RMB (Regional Message Board). Someone will eventually greet you back, and all of us will be happy and possibly throw you a party and gib the cakes. Cake is just yes rn, yum. Anyways.... after you've done that, join us on Discord. To ensure you aren't a robot, we warn you that we manually verify users on Discord, meaning we ask you questions directly then mask you with the proper roles.

Citizenship is managed by the Home Office's Citizenship & Immigration Services. As the Home Office is yet to set up its new policies, citizenship is free and requires you to only move your nation into Nova Lisseum and either have a verified WA Nation or have your resident nation join the World Assembly. If you have any more questions regarding citizenship and immigration, please contact our Home Secretary Feosa.
