Climate

Zemlyakov's climate is cold the most part of the year, with average annual temperatures barely reaching 5 °C, which places the country in the considered boreal climate. Thermal variability is low, with winters below zero that exceed -10 ºC and cool summers whose temperatures oscillate between 15 and 20 ºC only in the months of July and August. The country has a thaw season, in spring, where temperatures rise above 0 ºC. Thanks to the extension of the taiga forests, the thermal oscillations of Zemlyakov are lower than in other regions of the continent, which has allowed the sowing of different varieties of crops such as spinaches, radishes and carrots.

The northwest of Zemlyakov is the coldest part of the country due to the tundra that extends throughout the southern part of the continent. In the Rev mountains we find alpine climate, very cold, with impressive glaciers that extend in the highest points of the mountain chain.

Precipitations are generally low in all the country, being the interior regions the driest areas.
