Chapter 1

This Chapter shall deal with the various government systems on a basic level and give a base to further build upon the ideas of how government is structured.

Branches of government

There are three branches of government. These are: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial.

The Executive branch is any government official that has been elected and given privileges to help run the region. They are tasked with different jobs to do to keep the region running smoothly. They also are the first to review bills debating the merits of bills as well as seeing if they are constitutional.

The Legislative branch is unique in that it is not only made up of elected officials but unelected region members. The legislative branch is simply a fancy term for region members suggesting ideas for regional rules, activities, traditions, etc. Such ideas are called “bills” and when they are put into effect they are called “laws.”

The Judicial branch consists of members of the executive branch who have the additional jobs of dealing with rule breakers as well as review and double check bills once the executive branch has reviewed the bill, and make sure it is constitutional.

Founder/Supreme Papal Authority

The Founder has the authority as head of state and government to have the last word on all regional affairs. When bills are being made into laws he has the final word on the fate of that bill.

Parliament

Parliament is made up of three sections which are the three branches. Parliament is simply the structure for creating laws.

The legislative branch is purely part of parliament as it is based on region members proposing ideas, otherwise known as bills, to potentially be passed as laws.

The executive branch passes on the idea to the WA delegate and ultimately the Founder.

The Judicial branch reviews the law to see if it is constitutional.

The founder has the right to dissolve parliament and call for new elections even before a government official’s term may be up.

WA Delegate

The WA delegate is like the second in command of the region. He helps with organizing and running the region on a general level. The WA delegate is involved in all three branches of government. The WA delegate is also responsible to represent the region as a whole on the World Assembly.

Chapter 2

As the WA delegate is second in authority and first in authority of elected officials in the region it is of great importance that the elections of the WA delegate are dealt with great care. It is for this reason that this document contains rules for how elections are held. This sections will deal with campaigns, what happens during an election, and term limits.
