SHIP CATALOGUE

This is the catalogue of all spacecraft produced by Puffin Shipyards.
Puffin produces flexible craft that come equipped with surveying tools as standard equipment.
Smaller craft are equipped with an atmosphere mode, allowing them to function more like planes within a terrestrial atmosphere.
Do not expect strong combat craft, that is not our field of expertise. But if you need a survey fleet or transport craft that can survive a scuffle?
Then we might be able to help.

One of our first designs, the Seagull is a multi-purpose vehicle designed for quick transportation through dangerous environments. And yes, we said vehicle. It's capable of maneuvering through both space and atmospheres using powerful swiveling thrusters and a distinct wing setup, and can even be turned into a boat if you so wish. Whatever floats your... uh, gull, the Seagull can do it.
In case you feel like using it as a heavy fighter or a gunship, it also has basic ballistic armaments.

The baseline Puffin cruiser, the Peregrine is a sturdy workhorse of a craft. While not as agile as something like the Seagull, it's still far from sluggish, and it also has a nasty sting. With its well-protected cargo space, it can serve as a transport vessel, and if it isn't carrying materials or research subjects itself, it's a good escort. And that sphere in the middle? don't worry about it

Sometimes you get in a scrap. And sometimes there's scrap left over after that. That's where the Vulture comes in. Designed for construction and deconstruction, it can tear apart ship wrecks for raw materials, help repair wounded fleets, or even provide support in the construction of new ones. It also comes with plenty of storage space to carry around what it's salvaged. It's not as capable in combat as the Peregrine, though, so we recommend keeping it away from the actual fighting.

Don't be fooled by its chunkiness, the Eider is a handy ship. Serving as a quick hit-and-run vessel in addition to its role as a research vessel, it can quickly get in and out of the fray while sending out volleys from its autoguns (or just tearing off chunks of armour with its hauling claws if you're insane). The Eiderdown torpedo rack is a force to be reckoned with as well, whether it's aimed at a pesky asteroid or a pesky ship hull.

Puffin has a lot to provide in terms of transporting cargo. But what if your cargo is people? Perhaps military troops, colonists on their way to a new outpost of your space empire, or just some folks wanting to see the sights of the galaxy? We wouldn't want to put them into a cargo hold, now would we? With the Rockhopper, you can avoid giving your passengers such a cruel fate. Designed to be a comfortable way of moving groups of people across the void, it additionally has multiple different configurations it can be purchased in, whether it be one with hangar bays and quickly deployable shelters for a rapid start to a settlement, or a more stripped down version to fit more troops. But even in its default configuration, it has room for some thousand heads.
