Recently, representatives of the Reich proposed an amendment to the constitution of the Assembly of Regions, an interregional organization of which the New Reich of Bunicken is a member. This amendment gives regions the right to determine how to decide who will serve as their representatives to the House of Delegates. This amendment later was combined with another proposal to give equal suffrage to every region.

Happily, this amendment not only was approved, but received overwhelming support. While controversial in its beginnings, this amendment passed in a landslide. The breakdown of the vote is as follows:

𝔇𝔞𝔰 𝔈𝔫𝔡𝔢 𝔡𝔢𝔯 𝔇𝔯𝔢𝔴𝔭𝔬𝔨𝔞𝔩𝔶𝔭𝔰𝔢

As most residents of the Reich no doubt are aware, over the past few months the world has been shaken by the actions of Drew Durnil. The dictator of the previously unknown nation of Deruuu, this man is responsible for the sudden discovery and opening up of many new nations throughout many regions of the world, dubbed by many as the “Drewpocalypse;” the ensuing disruption has been so great that communications both between and within nations often have slowed to a crawl, though engineers have been working around the clock to restore vital lines. Like a strange mix of Christoph Kolumbus and Dschingis Khan, Durnil has changed the world like few other figures in history, and no doubt he will be mention in song and story for countless generations.

Yet, in a fascinating turn of events, reports have been released that Durnil apparently vanished without a trace sometime last Thursday. For so influential a figure, this bizarre turn of events has resulted in additional upheaval on the world stage. As the sole line of connection between Deruuu and the outside world, it is unknown if and how communication may be re-established between the small dictatorship and the rest of the world.

Moreover, many of the nations discovered by Durnil appear to have broken off communications with other countries for reasons unknown. Some have even gone so far as to question the existence of these nations, claiming that they were fabricated by Durnil in order to promote himself as an explorer and a diplomat. Nevertheless, many of the nations so discovered have maintained communications, and it is apparent that Durnil still can be counted among the great explorers regardless.

𝔎𝔯𝔞𝔴𝔞𝔩𝔩𝔢 𝔦𝔫 𝔡𝔢𝔫 𝔙𝔢𝔯𝔢𝔦𝔫𝔦𝔤𝔱𝔢𝔫 𝔖𝔱𝔞𝔞𝔱𝔢𝔫

Over this past weekend, violent riots have erupted all across the United States. People have been attacked, stores have been pillaged, and property has been utterly destroyed as chaos and anarchy reign.

This all is alleged to be in response to a released video, which shows a black man dying from suffocation from a white police officer kneeling on his neck against in pavement, in blatant violation of standard arrest procedure. While the full facts of the case have not yet been uncovered, the officer in question has been fired and is now facing charges of third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter. If convicted, the former officer could face up to twenty-five years in prison.

While preliminary analysis of the video does indeed seem to depict a gross miscarriage of justice, for which the officers without question should be held accountable, this is no excuse for the proliferation of violence. Riots even have broken out in places totally unrelated to the locale of the apparent crime, causing havoc for innocent citizens. Enormous amounts property have been stolen or damaged, and officials are being forced to take extreme action to restore law and order.

There is no evidence of any racial motivation behind the events in the video, but instead it appears to depict the tragic and deadly consequences of a particularly incompetent set of police officers, who likely should not even have been hired in the first place. Left-wing provocateurs, race hustlers, and anarchists sickly and shamefully have taken advantage of a terrible turn of events to cause mass pandemonium in the immediate wake of a worldwide public health disaster and economic crisis, enabled by biased media. Instead of allowing the legal process to unfold properly, these disgraceful miscreants have chosen to unleash bedlam.

Outrage about this accused crime entirely is understandable, but the wanton mayhem and destruction is indefensible.
