Regional Holidays Act
Regional Holidays ActNoting that: There is a greater need for regional unity in the Empire of Great Britain,
And that: A good way to do that would be several holidays throughout the year dedicated to Britishness and important events in British History.
Therefore, I propose that the House of Commons designate the following days as Regional Holidays, and that they be celebrated with cultural events planned and run by Her Majesty's Government:
-May 8th as V-E Day, to commemorate the Allied victory in the Second World War.
-May 24th as Victoria Day, to celebrate the birthday of our beloved founder-monarch.
-October 21st as Trafalgar Day, to commemorate Admiral Lord Nelson's victory over the combined Franco-Spanish Fleet in 1805.
-November 11th as Armistice Day, to commemorate the end of the First World War.
-December 26th as Boxing Day
