Why do I need Thaecian citizenship?
Citizenship is required in order to vote or stand in elections in Thaecia. This is to ensure our elections are free and fair. Without a citizenship requirement to vote, any resident could bring multiple puppet nations to Thaecia and use them to rig elections.

How do I obtain citizenship?

1. Join the World Assembly
   If you're already in the World Assembly then congrats, you're a Thaecian citizen! Any Thaecian resident who is also a member of the World Assembly is granted citizenship automatically.
   If you're not already in the World Assembly, you can apply to join by clicking this link and then clicking the 'Apply to join' button near the top of the page. The World Assembly will send you an email to confirm that you want to join.

2. Apply for waivered citizen status
   If you have a different nation outside of Thaecia that is already in the World Assembly, you can apply for a waiver by sending a telegram from that nation to Thaecia's Home Affairs Minister Taungu or the Prime Minister (The Islamic Country of Honour) and request to be granted citizenship status in Thaecia. Just make sure to mention the name of your Thaecian nation in your telegram.
