Grand Anglestone Grand Prix

After several years of negotiation, the FIA and the Anglotonian Motorsport Association - chaired by Michael Dalton - have agreed on terms for an official Formula 1 Grand Anglestone Grand Prix. It is to be built in the South West of the country in the idyllic countryside of the county of Cambroshire, and will boast state-of-the-art facilities, with a grant from the Government funding some of the work.

The Track itself will be designed by Baker & Landon Co., with input from none other than the nations leader, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Thomas III, who is an avid Formula 1 Fan himself. It is hoped to be completed in a 3 month time schedule and be ready for the second-to-last round of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

The overall cost of the project is to be valued in the region of £780 million (Anglos) and will receive a grant from the Government, yet the price is yet to be disclosed. HOWEVER, it is also said that the Emperor will infact be coughing up some of his personal money from business Investments to cover part of the grant. In a statement by Cambroshire County Council, "Council Tax and over grants of the sort will not be affected by the Government Grant towards the Construction of the Complex".

The Facilities are said to include the full paddock, a 200 room hotel, a leisure centre and swimming pool, several hospitality venues for the track, a large centrepiece 30,000 Capacity Grandstand and a mini airport for when race-day comes.

In a joint Statement by Mr. Dalton and His Imperial Majesty, they said that the venture was "Thoroughly exciting" and that the "The Venue will be remembered for Centuries to come".
