Relations and Cacelia-Wyveth War

Cacelia is bodered by Ciec in the West, Wyveth in the North and Geris in the East. Cacelia views all its neighbors with suspicion and considers them regional rivals. Cacelia has also fought a short war with Wyveth which saw it lose part of the Roith Mountain Range. Wyven raiders had been raiding Cacelian border towns and villages for some time. The Queen sent a strongly worded letter to Wyveth asking for immediate cessation of these incursions but it was largely ignored by the Wyvens. Cacelia then issued a formal war declaration to Wyveth but Cacelian troops took too long to mobilize and the army, consisting mostly of infantry was soundly defeated by the Wyveth army consisting of infantry as well as tamed trolls and mountain giants at the decisive Battle of Wyr Field.

King Mykal Launceor then ordered Queen Taliya Swygert to hastily negotiate a peace treaty with Jarl Sigurd Eriksen. The treaty saw Cacelia lose part of the Roith Mountain Range as well as having to pay war reparations to Wyveth along with a yearly tribute of gold and weapons.

Cacelia maintains trade relations with other nations of Etherith as well as some nations across the Glass Sea in Donnacroft and Tunland.
