Military Template for CTO / ATO Conflict, The Rules and Guide to Participating in Our Regional Conflicts! - Part 1

Welcome national leader, to the Cyterian Treaty Organisation (and Co.), 's helpful guide to writing about conflict and participating in war! First of all, we're going to need to get you up to speed!

Anyway, now, you wanted to learn about war, eh? It's time for some ground rules.

How do I figure out how strong my Military is?
Good question! Here's how we at the CTO do things around here.

1. Obtain your Defense Force stat
2. Obtain your Arms Manufacturing stat
3(opt). Obtain your Industry: Information Technology stat
4(opt). Obtain your Scientific Advancement stat
5(opt). Obtain your Law Enforcement stat
6(opt). Obtain your Sector: Manufacturing stat
7. Add them all together, that's your military prowess stat!
8. Send it over to me! (I need all of your stats photographed or else It'll take longer since I have to manually look at your stats)

A matter of Strength in Numbers or Strength in Firepower?
If you noticed by now, I do like to keep things fairly organised and traceable, hence why I'm writing about this.

Firepower Measurement: 1 Soldier = 1 Firepower Stat (equal to your accumulated military prowess stat)

Strength in Numbers Measurement: 1 Soldier = 0.25 Firepower Stat (equal to how much you have in your population)

So what's the difference? Firepower: is your military's power based on your defence force stat + your arms manufacturing (+technological advancement stat). If you have a small population, but got a great military prowess stat, this is the option for you!

Numbers: Put simply, you can have as many airmen, navymen, infantrymen and whatever as you like, including whatever else was in the template in part 2, BUT, every single item and stat you make is more or less redundant, only making a difference if your population is enough to overpower the opposition's power stat. No matter how guns you give to people, your military prowess stat is capped to 25% of its potential, meaning you're going to sacrifice many lives in battle if you choose this route, but maybe you're Joseph Stalin, who knows!

So WHAT THEN?!
Make your play on the world! If you observed what's been going on in our Regional Message Board, its where most if not all of our conflict goes on! You can post simple requests for aid, military mobilization, declaration of war, it's up to you! Remember well;

Everything around you (that is relatively near you) is YOUR nation's waters, do what you please, but everything else is the CTO's waters. Neighbouring nations apply with this rule. Most conflict takes place near someone's waters or even land! From there, land war will usually get stupidly specific, and we'll update the rules as life goes on, Discord will likely play a large role in this. If you're observant enough, we won't need to explain how buddy systems and quoting works, it's literally a chain, if you're not involved in the conflict, don't quote them, simple as that!
