Prohibition Of Honor-Based Violence
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.
The General Assembly,
Believing that acts of honor-based violence are especially heinous, and represent a fundamental betrayal of the trust afforded by a person to their relatives and members of their community,
Appalled that such acts occur in this current day and age, often with the tacit or explicit support of local authorities,
Seeking to put an end to these vile acts,
Hereby:
Defines "honor-based violence" as an act of violence perpetrated against an individual by or at the direction of a relative or any other member of a community, due to the perception that the individual has brought shame or dishonor upon their family or community, or has otherwise violated an honor code.
Prohibits:
honor-based violence from being carried out in any member state and;
the belief that the victim of an act of violence brought shame or dishonor upon their family or community, or otherwise violated an honor code, from being permitted as a part of:
any defense in criminal proceedings or
any argument to reduce the severity of criminal penalties.
Requires member states to prosecute alleged honor-based violence with at least the same severity as they prosecute other forms of alleged unlawful violence against individuals.

Maritime Vessel Registration Act
A resolution to enact uniform standards that protect workers, consumers, and the general public.
The World Assembly
Acknowledging that international waters are widely traveled for many purposes and fulfill a vital economic service;
Noting that extant laws regulate health & safety, security, communication, markings & signals, inspections, and labor concerns, which apply to member state vessels;
Concerned that no extant laws in existence compels a vessel to be registered under the jurisdiction of any nation, allowing nations to bypass those laws;
Believing that international uniform standards will serve to protect public interest, mariner safety and safeguard commerce;
Hereby,
Defines a "vessel" as a non military craft designed to travel on or below the water surface and which employs a paid crew, for the purposes of this legislation.
Member states must establish and maintain a ship register, which must serve to document and license any merchant vessel who wishes to travel within international waters.
Member states may establish their own registration requirements and prerequisites.
Member states must consider vessels registered to their state as under their jurisdiction, and must ensure that crews of registered vessels adhere to all applicable regulations.
Specifies that;
A vessel may be registered on any member nation's Ship Register, whether the owner of the vessel is a citizen of said nation or not, with the authority of the registering nation, and upon the completion of the registration process by both parties;
Members must not register a vessel currently registered with another state unless currently transferring the vessel to a new jurisdiction.
Member states must apply jurisdiction for the purposes of civil liability over any unregistered ship that is:
Owned, entirely or in major part, by a person or entity domiciled within their jurisdiction, or
Captained or substantially controlled by a person domiciled within their jurisdiction.
Non compliance to this Act is to be treated as a criminal offence by member nations.
Member states must impound any vessel violating this act until the vessel complies or the owner pays outstanding fines or penalties.
Member states must extradite any foreign crewmembers of an impounded ship per extant World Assembly law.
Member states may not construe anything in this resolution to apply to military vessels.

Protections Against Animal Abuse
A resolution to restrict civil freedoms in the interest of moral decency.
The World Assembly
Realizing that there are citizens of many nations that use pets, livestock, and wild animals as targets for their unholy, inhumane, and indecent actions,
Noticing that a lot of nations do not have restrictions on these acts in fear of restrictions on personal freedoms, in which the effect means that these inhumane and unjust acts of abusing animals proceeds,
Hereby announces the following requirements:
All nations must require that citizens that proclaim themselves the owner and caregiver of a pet must exceed the following requirement for living conditions:
Caregivers must provide an adequate amount of food and water that will keep their pet healthy
Caregivers must provide the necessary health care for their pets when they are in need of it
Families that can not afford to meet this standard, such as those living below the poverty line, are exempt from this requirement
Caregivers can not purposely abandon pets in a way which will harm the life of the pet (i.e. tossing it out a window, stranding it in an alley)
All nations must require that citizens that proclaim themselves the owner and maintainer of livestock must exceed the following requirement for living conditions:
Caregivers must provide an adequate amount of food and water that will keep their livestock healthy
Caregivers must provide the necessary health care for their livestock when they are in need of it
Again, families that can not afford to meet this standard, such as those living below the poverty line, are exempt from this requirement
Caregivers can not do away with livestock in inhumane ways
Inhumane ways being purposeful starvation, abandonment to remote areas, live burial,
Along with these requirements, The World Assembly also proclaims the following illegal:
The purposeful killing of a pet for unjustified or unnecessary reasons
Justified reasons for killing a pet would be putting them to sleep because the owner is unable to afford medical treatment or because they have a medical issue that is untreatable
The purposeful harming of a pet for unjustified reasons
Purposefully shooting, stabbing, or torturing a pet is illegal

Global Pandemic Preparedness Plan
A resolution to modify universal standards of healthcare.
The World Assembly,
Acutely aware of the dangerous potential of infectious disease, if left to spread unmonitored, to bring about levels of death and economic destruction unlike any other type of crisis.
Deeply concerned that the international community faces more of a threat from infectious disease than ever before as a result of globalization.
Alarmed by the international community's repeated dismissal of the warnings of infectious disease specialists regarding the increased danger of the pandemic threat.
Recognizing that, as warned by public health experts, no one in our hyper-globalized world can be safe unless everyone is safe.
Appreciating the need for an equitable response to this crisis -- one that prioritizes people over profit and recognizes the equal value of all human life.
Believing that, with a strong and concerted effort, the nations of the world can band together to create a more safe and healthy world and forever end the infectious disease threat.
Proposes:
The establishment of an international task force of scientists to develop new disease-monitoring technologies to eliminate potential threats before they materialize.
The creation of strict and robust data-sharing protocols between all countries through an independent and apolitical international body. The maintenance of global health is dependent on international cooperation and transparency.
The formation of an international disease prevention and control fund, with all countries contributing their reasonable share based on wealth development, with resources available to all members of the international community for emergency response and mitigation.
The establishment of a long-term development fund to finance health infrastructure upgrades across the developing world in order to improve sanitation, hospital capacity, and the availability of essential medical equipment and pharmaceuticals to all, regardless of nationality or wealth.
Together in unity, we can build a safer and healthier world.
