The Colony of OneMoreLight is a tiny, socially progressive nation, renowned for its state-planned economy, compulsory military service, and absence of drug laws. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 16 million OneMoreLightians are ruled with an iron fist by the socialist government, which grants its people the freedom to do whatever they like so long as it doesn't involve getting richer than anybody else or challenging the government.

The relatively small, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Spirituality, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 17.5%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The fair OneMoreLightian economy, worth 639 billion dollars a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, broadly diversified black market in Beef-Based Agriculture, Furniture Restoration, Pizza Delivery, and Soda Sales. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 39,996 dollars, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.0 times as much as the poorest.

Crime, especially youth-related, is relatively low. OneMoreLight's national animal is the dinosaur.

OneMoreLight is ranked 111,324th in the world and 2,240th in Artificial Solar System for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 1,012.3 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
