The Empire of Dixpa is a large, socially progressive nation, renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. The hard-working, democratic, devout population of 50 million Dixpans enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

The tiny, liberal, pro-business government is primarily concerned with Spirituality, with Education and Defense also on the agenda, while Industry and International Aid receive no funds. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6.6%.

The strong Dixpan economy, worth 2.42 trillion Dipaxes a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is led by the Trout Farming industry, with major contributions from Basket Weaving, Soda Sales, and Information Technology. Average income is 48,349 Dipaxes, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 217,815 per year while the poor average 6,614, a ratio of 32.9 to 1.

Maximum security fish farms leave caged salmon pining for the fjords, children often explain to their parents that the Mega Ultimate Sword Fist was worth the thousand-Dipax charge on their phone bill, planespotters are emigrating in droves, and right-wingers complain that too many people are suckling at the welfare teat. Crime is a serious problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Dixpa's national animal is the Lobo, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Dixpa is ranked 8,550th in the world and 27th in Bozarkia for Largest Trout Fishing Sector, scoring 9,458.31 on the Nemo Depletion Efficiency Index.
